Food Grade Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) Powder manufactured in the EU. This white pigment powder (E171), is widely used for its efficiency in scattering visible light, and imparting whiteness, brightness, and a high opacity. In the food industry it is mainly used in confectionery manufacture. This product is a 100% pure food grade approved pigment, with nothing else added. Other non food grade products, eg cosmetic, have high heavy metal counts.
One of the best white pigment agents available to the food industry, it is what makes marshmallows white!
Cleaning Tip for wiping up spills
Attempt to brush all powder off benches prior to wiping with a wet cloth. Titanium is very hard to remove from rubber.
