What is STTP role in food manufacturing?
In foods, STPP is used to retain moisture, it can substantially increase the sale weight of seafood in particular. It helps retain the natural colour of meat and also acts as an emulsifier from becoming greasy and falling apasrt during heating.
Non food uses for STTP
Used in toothpaste, soaps and detergent manufacturing. Its foaming properties and pH buffering makes it very suitable as a water softener.
