Ponceau 4R Red Powder - Colour 124 (E124) 20g, Water Applications. Ponceau is a lighter red colour that is used in food production or in stage makeup and special effects. Difference between the supermarket liquid colours and these ones
1. The liquid colours in small bottles available in the supermarket use on average only 2.2% of active dye. If you work out this it means that our powder container is enough to dye many Olympic sized swimming pools.

2. The supermarket colours being in a solution require the addition of preservatives these mainly being E202 & E211.

Blood Red - Verified Buyer Review

I use this to make fake blood for movies, its really red like a blood nose red. Highest dye content I have found. My one tip is to make sure you wear gloves when using, even glad wrap the bench otherwise boom! water touches and red everywhere.
