Edible Gold Glitter Powder adds that special extra something to your cakes or chocolates. Being a versatile fine powder product, compared to others on the market, makes application easy to cakes or chocolates. We have found the best way to apply our glitter is with an eye shadow or fine paint brush. As our glitter is almost a powder tipping straight from the container will result in excess wastage, a little of this product goes a long way. Some creative types use stencils to apply stars for example to the top of a cakes. The glitters supplied by The Melbourne Food Depot are safe to be consumed. As with everything consumption should be in moderation.
A number of wedding catering companies use this product to coat the rims of cocktail glasses to give that special feel. We are not sure about how this is carried out but with a bit of experimenting we are sure you could work it out.
The edible gold glitter powder supplied by The Melbourne Food Depot has the ability to cover a variety of colours. During testing a carbon black tea cake was made and the top covered in our gold glitter powder. To see a photography of this look above. As a rough guide this container should cover approximately 250 average sized cup cakes.
