Ajinomoto Aspartame exceeds the standards set for pharmaceutical or food applications by the United States Pharmacopoeia. Ajinomoto Aspartame also meets the specifications and standards of other national and international bodies such as the Food Chemical Codex (FCC), the French and German Pharmacopoeia, JECFA (FAO/WHO) and the Japanese Sweetener Standards.
